Celebrations and Cake Just Go Together
Don’t you just love to celebrate? Your little one’s birthday, grandma and grandpa’s anniversary, a graduation for a special student. Celebrations are joyous times that demand cake, right? And cake demands frosting. Real food frosting, that is!
Whether I’m making my amazing Parsnip Cake or my husband’s favorite Black Magic Cake, I like to keep the frosting simple. Like two ingredients simple.
I love this real food frosting because it’s not too sweet, relatively healthy, and (did I already say this) simple.
And dessert reminds me of this quote from John Calvin, “If we consider for what end He created food, we shall find that He consulted not only for our necessity but also for our enjoyment and delight.”
